DNR Films wants to share a secret of London with you. A restaurant in Kennington called "The Lobster Pot". A foodies heaven, and of course for lobster fans too. With sounds of seagulls and lots of memorabilia from ships surrounding diners one can't help but feel near the sea. We tried the 8 course surprise meal with a Lobster course for £44.95. The idea behind this is that you tell the waiters what you eat and don't eat/like and then the chef prepares 8 surprises for you to enjoy.
My favourite was the basil sorbet (which I never imagined even existed) and the lobster and langoustine bisque, and the smoked salmon was also gorgeous. A unique venue and completely unforgettable. Staff were genuine and helpful and we got the feeling the place is family run. A gem of south London. Definitely returning.
