DNR loves ... Budweiser Anticipation by Dave Edwards

David Edwards at Rogue has directed ‘Anticipation’, the beautiful new spot for Budweiser and Anomaly. Produced by Maddy Easton at Rogue and Poppy Manning at Anomaly, the spot revels those moments of anticipation in looking forward to an event or party and the excitement it brings when that moment finally arrives.

From the outset, the director wanted the spot to be photographically beautiful and real, but also reactionary. The slow build of anticipation proved vital, and through following the narrative of three everyday stories - joining a party, watching a football match and attending a music festival - the spot is able to build to a crescendo of emotion when that moment of anticipation is finally reached.
