LOOKING FOR A RED TECHNICIAN

Ill Manors LTD is looking for a Red Tech to transcode RED r3d rushes overnight to join our team and contribute to an exciting new feature film written and directed by Plan B, Ben Drew.

Duties and responsibilities:
> You will be working directly with the post production supervisor, On set DIT and Assistant editor.
> Copying and archiving R3d dailes and creating a log and catologue of all media.
> Transcoding the RED files to Apple ProRes QuickTimes for ingestion into FCP.
>Checking Rushes for any focus, exposure problems, check for missing files or corrupt files and reporting this to the post production supervisor

Skills and experience:
> Have a basic understanding of film workflow and colour science.
> You must have a good understanding of the RED workflow, be proficent with RED CINE x, RED Alert, ETC ETC
> Have a good understanding of Mac OS x operating systems
>A good working Knowledge of FCP


Days required 1st-26th September including weekends.
This is a work experience position and is based at 3 Mills Studios.
